Im O-Ton: “Zantho, 2010 Zweigelt Austria, $14. Austria's red wines boast the grape Zweigelt, which makes a Burgundian style dry wine, redolent with plums, cherries and brown cooking spices. Zantho's is a great example, vinified in stainless steel and closed with a glass cork that can be replaced. Zweigelt is a cold-climate red wine grape that does well in Austria and is planted in Michigan and New York.
